I’m a baby boomer who retired in October of 2003 after working 30 years for Caterpillar Inc. My husband, Tom and I currently live in Southeast Florida as a result of Tom’s job transfer with Caterpillar. This is the 2nd job transfer for us - we previously lived in North Carolina. We were both born and raised in Illinois. I have a son from a previous marriage who is in his late twenties and Tom has a son and a daughter from his previous marriage. They also are in their twenties. All 3 live in Illinois and either in school or employed enjoying their independence and staying out of trouble - we hope.
When not visiting family, I spend most of my free time enjoying my hobbies - sewing, scrapbooking, gardening, decorating, and a fairly new past time for both Tom and I - RVing! We bought a 40’ motor home in 2005 and are thoroughly enjoying our RV adventures.
I usually have some kind of a project underway and several completed - so much of what you read here will be related to these projects. Plus - I predict this RVing thing is going to consume much more of our life - real soon. That’s the plan anyway.
So - fill up your coffee cup and tool around my blog. There are plenty of pics to keep it interesting. You’ll either be bored silly or maybe - just maybe you’ll get inspired to try something new. Either way - one thing I know for sure is you will enjoy the coffee! TFL
